Using the patented ValveAlyzer ® System, site-specific databases, custom test procedures, acoustic emission testing, complex thermal analysis, and other proprietary data analysis methods, we are able to identify leaking Cycle Isolation Valves and Traps – often referred to as “Money Valves”.

The result is an effective ranking of each test item based on its impact on a plant’s performance. This service also provides an estimate of internal valve damage based on leak sizes.

The goal is to identify valves for repair or replacement during an outage. This service also reduces outage scope and wasted maintenance budgets by identifying tight valves.
This service is best suited for troubleshooting at plants that wish to determine if a valve is leaking and requires maintenance.

A typical example is to troubleshoot which of several boundary valves are preventing a heater or pump from being isolated for on-line maintenance. Our service identifies which of several valves actually need repair or replacement.

The result is a detailed final report that indicates which valves are leaking or tight. Unlike our cycle isolation testing service, this option does not include a ranking of each tested valve based on its effect on efficiency or output.
